We buy the beads at an overseas Gem Show and make up these Earrings.

I was instantly drawn to the strings of these beads - somehow they looked and felt more Authentic. The Owner assured me that this was because they had been cut shaped and polished in the old fashioned way, rather than melting and molding the Amber, hence the greater expense as well. Certainly the beads are not all exactly the same and a few are slightly asymmetric which bears him out.

The addition a fancy cap and some Earring Hooks makes for a really lovely antique looking pair of Amber Earrings.
